If you're looking for a little spark of joy to brighten your life, Comet is your girl.This fluffy, happy pup is as sweet as they come. Comet loves people and greets the world with a wagging tail and a joyful spirit that's impossible to resist. She's the kind of puppy who wants to be part of everything you do, whether that's relaxing at home or heading out on an adventure.Comet is already off to a great start with her training. She's learning commands like "come" and "sit," and she's working hard on potty training and doing wonderfully. She sleeps through the night like a champ and loves her bed.One of her absolute favorite things in the world? A tennis ball. Toss it once and you'll see her eyes light up. She'll happily chase it down and bring it right back, ready to play again. She also loves riding in the car, making her the perfect little co-pilot for weekend getaways or everyday errands.Comet is more than just adorable. She's affectionate, eager to learn, and full of love to give. All she needs now is a forever family to call her own.This pup was rescued from a high kill shelter in Texas. Meet and greets are by appointment only. An approved application is required to schedule a meeting. This is all the information we have currently. Approved Applicants may make the adoption fee payment by clicking donate above. Partial adoption fees will not hold a dog. If upon meeting the dog of your choosing at your scheduled pickup time you find that you aren't a good match, your deposit will be fully refunded. Adoption fees include vaccines up until time of adoption, microchip, spay/neuter and 1st 30 days of free pet insurance. We are not affiliated with MetLife pet insurance. (you have to sign up for the insurance or it will not go into effect). Adoption fees help cover the medical care of the animals while he or she waits for a new home, as well as food and transportation costs. These fees help to provide care for the other animals in the shelter or rescue group who may have medical bills that are much higher than any possible adoption fee. The money also acts as a donation to help support the organization as a whole, allowing the group to continue its efforts to rescue and rehome pets. The dogs in our care are fostered in Colorado, Texas, and New Mexico. While all dogs are picked up during our scheduled times, sometimes transport dates change due to unforeseen circumstances.
