With his sweet smooshy face and round little meatball body, he is impossible not to fall in love with. He truly is a shelter staff favorite and has that gentle, goofy personality that makes everyone smile. Dandelion has a nice balance of playful and laid back energy. He enjoys playing with other dogs and will happily join in on the fun, but he also knows when he is ready to call it a day and relax. He is more toy motivated than treat motivated and loves engaging with toys and playtime. He does well on leash, behaves nicely in his kennel, and seems to be potty trained. He has been great with everyone he has met and is a sweet and gentle boy at heart. He loves other dogs and would really enjoy having a dog friend or two in his new home to play and hang out with. A home with a yard would be ideal for him, along with a strong and secure fence to keep this lovable goof safe while he explores and plays. Dandelion has been looking for love in all the wrong places, but now he is ready to find it for real. He is a great boy with a soft heart who is just waiting for someone to choose him. Partial adoption fees will not hold a dog. If upon meeting the dog of your choosing at your scheduled pickup time you find that you aren't a good match, your deposit will be fully refunded. Adoption fees include vaccines up until time of adoption, microchip, spay/neuter and 1st 30 days of free pet insurance. We are not affiliated with MetLife pet insurance. (you have to sign up for the insurance or it will not go into effect). Adoption fees help cover the medical care of the animals while he or she waits for a new home, as well as food and transportation costs. These fees help to provide care for the other animals in the shelter or rescue group who may have medical bills that are much higher than any possible adoption fee. The money also acts as a donation to help support the organization as a whole, allowing the group to continue its efforts to rescue and rehome pets. The dogs in our care are fostered in Colorado, Texas, and New Mexico. While all dogs are picked up during our scheduled times, sometimes transport dates change due to unforeseen circumstances.
