Hi! I'm Kesha!I'm a young, energetic, and happy girl who loves to play! Whether I'm running around with my foster siblings, playing tug-of-war with my rope toys, or tossing around a Kong, I'm always ready for fun. I've got a spunky personality and a joyful spirit that makes every day more exciting.I do really well on a leash and enjoy getting out for walks - my foster says I'd make an awesome hiking buddy! Exploring new sights and smells is one of my favorite things, and I'd love an active family who's ready for adventures with me.After I've burned off some energy, I'm all about the cuddles. I love curling up next to my people for cozy naps and soaking up affection. Meeting new people? Yes, please! I'm a friendly girl who truly enjoys making new friends.I'm working hard on my potty training and already know "sit." I'm smart and eager to learn, especially when treats are involved. I'm still polishing my listening skills and responding to verbal corrections, so I'll do best with a consistent, patient family who can continue guiding me.One important note: I do show signs of prey drive toward cats, so a cat-free home would likely be best for me.If you're looking for an energetic, playful, loving companion who's ready for both adventure and snuggles, I might just be your girl.Kesha was rescued from a high kill shelter in Texas.Meet and greets are by appointment only. Partial adoption fees will not hold a dog. If upon meeting the dog of your choosing at your scheduled pickup time you find that you aren't a good match, your deposit will be fully refunded. Adoption fees include vaccines up until time of adoption, microchip, spay/neuter and 1st 30 days of free pet insurance. We are not affiliated with MetLife pet insurance. (you have to sign up for the insurance or it will not go into effect). Adoption fees help cover the medical care of the animals while he or she waits for a new home, as well as food and transportation costs. These fees help to provide care for the other animals in the shelter or rescue group who may have medical bills that are much higher than any possible adoption fee. The money also acts as a donation to help support the organization as a whole, allowing the group to continue its efforts to rescue and rehome pets. The dogs in our care are fostered in Colorado, Texas, and New Mexico. While all dogs are picked up during our scheduled times, sometimes transport dates change due to unforeseen circumstances.
