This pup will be available to meet starting on 4/4This gentle, dainty girl has a calm and loving nature that makes her an absolute joy to be around. Tawny is a total sweetheart who loves cuddles and hugs and will happily soak up all the affection you have to give. She is food motivated and knows some basic obedience, making her eager to learn and easy to bond with. She walks nicely on leash and has great manners, both in and out of the shelter. She does wonderfully with other dogs and is a true playgroup rockstar, getting along with dogs of all sizes. Tawny is a social butterfly who enjoys making friends, but she also has a low energy, laid back side and is perfectly content lounging around and enjoying a peaceful day. Tawny would thrive in a home with a yard and other dogs where she can enjoy both companionship and relaxation. She has the perfect balance of being social, affectionate, and easygoing. Partial adoption fees will not hold a dog. If upon meeting the dog of your choosing at your scheduled pickup time you find that you aren't a good match, your deposit will be fully refunded. Adoption fees include vaccines up until time of adoption, microchip, spay/neuter and 1st 30 days of free pet insurance. We are not affiliated with MetLife pet insurance. (you have to sign up for the insurance or it will not go into effect). Adoption fees help cover the medical care of the animals while he or she waits for a new home, as well as food and transportation costs. These fees help to provide care for the other animals in the shelter or rescue group who may have medical bills that are much higher than any possible adoption fee. The money also acts as a donation to help support the organization as a whole, allowing the group to continue its efforts to rescue and rehome pets. The dogs in our care are fostered in Colorado, Texas, and New Mexico. While all dogs are picked up during our scheduled times, sometimes transport dates change due to unforeseen circumstances.
