Meet Cabbage: The Smartest Sprout in the Patch! At just 3 months old, Cabbage is a sweet, curious, and slightly goofy puppy ready to find her forever family. She has oversized paws, a joyful bounce, and an eager-to-please personality that makes her an absolute delight to be around.Brains and Personality:Cabbage is a natural learner-highly food-motivated and quick to pick up new tricks. She's already showing off her signature "pounce" when going after her ball and is starting to grasp fetch. Despite her playful energy, she's a quiet soul at home, not barking at doors or noises, and has been a wonderful companion to a large Great Pyrenees/Great Dane mix, learning to play respectfully with dogs of all sizes.Puppy Life:Like any 3-month-old, Cabbage is in the "everything goes in my mouth" phase, from sticks to pine cones. She'll need a family ready to redirect her to appropriate chew toys and provide consistent guidance. She's doing well with potty training, with only a few accidents, and will need regular breaks every 3-4 hours, especially after meals or play.Training & Routine:Cabbage is settling into her foster home beautifully. She goes to her crate for meals, is learning short absences, and enjoys following her people everywhere. She's learning basic commands like "sit" and beginning to understand manners. With consistency, she's going to blossom into a confident, well-behaved pup.The Perfect Match:Cabbage is the ideal mix of "play hard" and "cuddle hard." She loves pouncing on toys in the yard and then curling up for snuggles on the couch. She thrives with people by her side and would do well as a solo pup soaking up attention or with another playful dog who enjoys an energetic buddy. Her joyful, bouncy energy, affectionate nature, and quick learning make her a perfect addition to an active, loving household.Cabbage is ready to fill a home with love, laughter, and puppy antics-she just needs a family to guide her, play with her, and watch her grow into the amazing dog she's destined to be.Cabbage was rescued from a high kill shelter in Texas. If upon meeting the dog of your choosing at your scheduled pickup time you find that you aren't a good match, your deposit will be fully refunded. Adoption fees include vaccines up until time of adoption, microchip, spay/neuter and 1st 30 days of free pet insurance. We are not affiliated with MetLife pet insurance. (you have to sign up for the insurance or it will not go into effect). Adoption fees help cover the medical care of the animals while he or she waits for a new home, as well as food and transportation costs. These fees help to provide care for the other animals in the shelter or rescue group who may have medical bills that are much higher than any possible adoption fee. The money also acts as a donation to help support the organization as a whole, allowing the group to continue its efforts to rescue and rehome pets. The dogs in our care are fostered in Colorado, Texas, and New Mexico. While all dogs are picked up during our scheduled times, sometimes transport dates change due to unforeseen circumstances.
