Haya is a sweet, smart girl with the kindest heart. She's already doing great with house manners and will happily take herself outside to potty when she has access to a doggie door and a fenced yard. At night, she settles in beautifully and sleeps through the night in her kennel like a champ.Haya is curious and thoughtful-she loves watching her dog friends and learning from them. You'll often catch her gaining confidence as she tries out a new toy, enjoys a treat from a Kong, or joins in on playtime. She's a quick learner and clearly eager to please. This gentle girl does well with other dogs and truly enjoys having a canine friend to interact with. With her sweet nature, growing confidence, and smart, observant personality, Haya is the kind of dog who will blossom even more in a loving home.If you're looking for a kind, gentle companion who's already off to a great start, Haya might be your perfect match. Haya was rescued from a high kill shelter in Texas after being surrendered with her litter of puppies.Haya has tested positive for Heartworm. Treatment will be covered by the rescue at one of our partner veterinarians.Meet and greets are by appointment only. An approved application is required to schedule a meeting. This is all the information we have currently. Approved Applicants may make the adoption fee payment by clicking donate above. Partial adoption fees will not hold a dog. If upon meeting the dog of your choosing at your scheduled pickup time you find that you aren't a good match, your deposit will be fully refunded. Adoption fees include vaccines up until time of adoption, microchip, spay/neuter and 1st 30 days of free pet insurance. We are not affiliated with MetLife pet insurance. (you have to sign up for the insurance or it will not go into effect). Adoption fees help cover the medical care of the animals while he or she waits for a new home, as well as food and transportation costs. These fees help to provide care for the other animals in the shelter or rescue group who may have medical bills that are much higher than any possible adoption fee. The money also acts as a donation to help support the organization as a whole, allowing the group to continue its efforts to rescue and rehome pets. The dogs in our care are fostered in Colorado, Texas, and New Mexico. While all dogs are picked up during our scheduled times, sometimes transport dates change due to unforeseen circumstances.
