Aphrodite, a 3-year-old Lab mix came into rescue after being hit by a car. She was emaciated, injured, and had 9 puppies she was tending to as any great Mama would. Although terrified of people at first, with daily care and patience, she has transformed into a healthy, 60-pound girl who is a very curious, playful, and loving dog. Although still having some hip trouble from being hit, she continues to improve daily. Aphrodite needs a family who will shower her with the love and patience and time she deserves. Don’t you think?
