Meet Iggy, the 10 week old schnoberman. What is a Schnoberman⦠you may ask? Well, when a Schnauzer mix and a Doberman mix get together.. you get a Schnoberman.Iggy is one if 5 lively, well socialized and surprisingly petite puppies that came into the Shelter as a product of an accidental litter. Staff have observed that they are playful busy bodies, true to puppies their age. They have lived with a 15 year old child in a previous home. Iggy spent a brief period of time in a home where he was reported to do great with a baby and toddler. Adopters should anticipate continuing to work on potty training and providing age-appropriate chew options for Iggy (to deter the chewing of inappropriate things). If you are looking for a medium sized puppy to complete your home, come meet Iggy! The Santa Cruz County Animal Shelter Foundation is now offering âPawsitivity Bucksâ with every dog adoption. This $200 training voucher is a way for newly adopted canines and their guardians to connect with local positive reinforcement based behavior consultants and get their relationship started off on the right paw! Please note: Our Santa Cruz locationâs Shelter hours are 11-6pm, 7 days a week! Although clients can walk through and see any animals in their kennels during open hours, we end âmeet and greetsâ (aka meeting an animal out of the kennel) at 4:30pm every day. If youâd like to meet an animal out of the kennel, please arrive before 4:00pm to allow for time to discuss individual animals and meet them.
