Meet Taco, the black duckling! Taco was surrendered with his swimming buddy Nacho – and together they are a perfect pair! These cuties are bonded so they will have to go to a loving home together. Taco is the shyer of the pair, letting Nacho take the lead. He is more hesitant to be handled, but with time he may follow (or waddle) in Nacho’s footsteps. In their previous home, Nacho and Taco were around dogs and cats--- however they sometimes would pester their kitty roommates so potential adopters should consider a slow thoughtful introduction to other pets. If you are looking for two duckling buddies to quack their way into your heart, come meet these guys today!Please note: Our Santa Cruz location’s Shelter hours are 11-6pm, 7 days a week! Although clients can walk through and see any animals in their kennels during open hours, we end “meet and greets” (aka meeting an animal out of the kennel) at 4:30pm every day. If you’d like to meet an animal out of the kennel, please arrive before 4:00pm to allow for time to discuss individual animals and meet them
