Jake Peralta (DSH mackerel tabby) and Charles Boyle (DMH mackerel tabby, bent tail) are sweet, social, playful, friendly, amazing kittens! Jake loves to snuggle up with humans, his buddy Charles, and/or a willing big kitty for a nice long snooze. When he’s not taking a long catnap, he loves to wrestle, play with toys, or climb the tallest cat tower he can find! He makes adorable little chirping noises when he’s proud of himself for being a brave little hunter! Charles is a non-stop bundle of energy and personality. He loves to drag his toys all over the place and pounce on unsuspecting friends for an impromptu wrestling match, but when it’s nap time, he sleeps HARD! He has tried very hard to make friends with all the big cats in his foster home but is most often found playing or napping with Jake. Both boys have very healthy appetites and will gladly remind you when it’s mealtime, after which they love to snuggle in for a nice post-meal snooze. They each would love to be adopted into a family with another young and playful cat, or to be adopted together as a pair!Andrea’s adoption fee is reduced to $33 - come to the Shelter today to adopt your very own Valentine!Please note: Our Santa Cruz location’s Shelter hours are 11-6pm, 7 days a week! Although clients can walk through and see any animals in their kennels during open hours, we end “meet and greets” (aka meeting an animal out of the kennel) at 4:30pm every day. If you’d like to meet an animal out of the kennel, please arrive before 4:00pm to allow for time to discuss individual animals and meet them.
