Established in 1986, the Seal Beach Animal Care Center is a non-profit, pro-humane animal shelter committed to finding permanent, loving homes for all the animals that come into our care. Our staff of dedicated volunteers ensures the animals are kept as comfortable as possible until they can be placed in to new adoptive home.

Adoption Process
We have an application process and an adoption contract. Fees for dogs are $120, puppies $150, cats over 6 months and under 5 years $75, cats over 5 years $50, kittens $115. We require that adopted dogs be kept indoors at night and when people are home, and all members of the family, including other dogs must meet the dog. For cats, we require that they be indoor only and that the adopter not declaw them.
