Meet Zeus!
Zeus is a sweet, friendly young guy who absolutely loves attention - and food! His foster says he comes running to greet her whenever she enters the room, always excited for pets, company, and of course mealtime. Zeus is very food motivated and isn't picky, which makes him an easy cat to keep happy.
He's an affectionate boy who enjoys being petted and spending time near his people. Zeus has a playful side but also makes a wonderful lap companion, making him a great balance of fun and cuddly.
Zeus is also a very special "double-positive" kitty, meaning he has tested positive for both FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus) and FeLV (Feline Leukemia Virus). While that may sound intimidating, many cats with these conditions can still enjoy happy, comfortable lives with the right care and a safe indoor home.
These two viruses spread in different ways. FeLV is more easily transmitted through saliva, such as sharing food bowls, grooming, or close contact. Because of this, Zeus should live either as the only cat or with other FeLV-positive cats.
FIV, on the other hand, is primarily spread through deep bite wounds during serious fights, so friendly cats who get along well typically do not transmit it to each other. This means that if Zeus lives with other cats who are already FeLV-positive and are friendly companions, his FIV status is generally not a concern for them.
Aside from his medical status, Zeus is simply a wonderful companion. He is friendly, affectionate, playful, and even-tempered - the kind of cat who quickly makes himself at home.
Zeus is currently living in a foster home, and arrangements can be made to meet him once an adoption application has been submitted.
This sweet boy has so much love to give and deserves a family who will see the special cat he truly is.
**This cat is currently in a foster home and arrangements can be made for a meeting once you have applied with us. All cats are spayed or neutered, vaccinated and tested for FIV/FeLV. If interested in adopting me, please fill out an online adoption application at

One of the biggest misconceptions about feline leukemia, which suppresses a cat's immune system, is that it is an automatic death sentence. There are many variables, however, that come into play that determine how FeLV will affect a particular cat. To learn more about this condition visit:
