About This Cat

DOB: 3/9/2026 I'm a snuggle bug at night. During the day, I like to play and run around with my sister. We are fun to watch. But I get really scared if you come towards me. In time, I will relax, but it will require patience. I do like to …

What WeRescue Scout knows about Houdini (bonded to Juliet)

This kitten does best in a home with another playful cat or littermate to grow up with, as the shelter requires pairs to prevent single kitten syndrome. An adopter willing to let this fearful kitten warm up on her own timeline—through patient play and nighttime snuggles rather than forced handling—will see her confidence bloom.

Good to know
  • Kitten must be adopted with a feline companion (littermate or young playful cat) unless specifically identified by shelter as single-kitten compatible.
  • Becomes scared when people approach; needs time and patience to acclimate to handling.

Shelter

We are a 501c3, non-profit, all volunteer animal rescue and welfare organization. We are dedicated to ending the explosion of homeless pets in this area; through low cost (sometimes no cost) spay/neuter, public education/awareness, rescue/adoption and support for feral/stray cats and their caregivers. We do this because there is an epidemic of abused, neglected, abandoned animals throughout Central Ohio. As a compassionate organization we are striving to end this suffering for them. Get them medical care, food and if necessary, a new home.

Address 2740 Festival Center Lane, Dublin, oh 43017
Service Areas Central Ohio
Adoption Process
We have an application that requires the potential adopter to wait until their application can be verified. Once everything checks out the adopter comes and picks up their new fur member of the family and signs a contract. One of the highlights of our contract states that if for ANY reason at ANY time they cannot care for the animal, they must return the cat or dog back to Colony Cats (& dogs). Our adoption fees are $100 for kittens (4 months and younger), $85 for kittens 5 or 6 months, $75 for adult cats, $50 for Wise Whiskers (7 years and older). We often have adoption specials where the adoption fees are lowered. The adoption fee includes the animals already being spayed/neutered, Feline Leukemia and FIV tested (cats), heartworm tested (dogs), all vaccinations (FVRCP and DHLPP), rabies vaccine (if kittens or puppies adopted are not old enough to have received a rabies vaccine, then the new owner will need to go to their vet to get this done), microchip, flea/tick/heartworm preventative.
