Close enough to let you know he's chosen you. Far enough to maintain his dignity. It's the Brooks way, and frankly, it's an honor.

He does not need to be the center of attention. He does not require constant entertainment. He simply needs a calm, quiet home where his personal space is respected and his proximity is appreciated.
