About This Cat
What WeRescue Scout knows about Dolly
Dolly needs a calm, patient adult who respects her need for space and won't push for affection on a timeline. A quiet home where she can retreat to her own corners and gradually learn to trust at her own pace will give her the best chance to thrive.
- FIV-positive; requires monitoring and veterinary care; cannot be adopted to a multi-cat household without careful consideration and isolation if needed
- Very fearful and avoidant of hands and attention; will take months or longer to show any affection
- Not suitable for homes with young children or those seeking an interactive or cuddly pet
WeRescue Scout summarized this from the shelter's original listing and may include estimates. Please contact Colony Cats (& dogs) to confirm any details before adopting.

About Dolly
Colony Cats (& dogs)
ShelterWe are a 501c3, non-profit, all volunteer animal rescue and welfare organization. We are dedicated to ending the explosion of homeless pets in this area; through low cost (sometimes no cost) spay/neuter, public education/awareness, rescue/adoption and support for feral/stray cats and their caregivers. We do this because there is an epidemic of abused, neglected, abandoned animals throughout Central Ohio. As a compassionate organization we are striving to end this suffering for them. Get them medical care, food and if necessary, a new home.
