Coco

Coco is the kind of dog who wakes up every morning ready to make the world a happier place. Full of enthusiasm, joy, and goofy charm, Coco brings sunshine everywhere he goes. Whether he’s bouncing around excitedly or greeting you like a long-lost best friend, his happiness is completely contagious. While Coco may not have had a lot of structure in his previous home, he is proving every single day just how smart and eager to learn he really is. With consistency, positive reinforcement, and a little patience, this boy is going to absolutely thrive. He already knows “sit” and has been working hard on “lay down” and “wait” — and we couldn’t be prouder of the progress he’s making. Coco appears to be potty trained, though like any dog adjusting to a new home, he’ll need time to learn a new routine and settle in. He’s also doing wonderfully with leash walking! Sometimes exciting environments can get the best of his enthusiasm, but he responds well to gentle redirection and is continuing to improve every day. Despite having limited experience with other dogs before coming to the shelter, Coco has done beautifully meeting canine friends and has even made a few buddies during his stay with us. He enjoys playtime and would likely do best with a tolerant dog companion who can match his playful energy and help him continue building proper social skills. Cats, however, are a little too exciting for Coco, so a feline-free home would be best. Coco is playful, active, and always ready for his next adventure. Walks, exploring, and having positive outlets for his energy will help him continue growing into the amazing dog we already know he is. Most of all, Coco is incredibly sweet and loving — there isn’t a shy bone in his body. He simply wants to be included, loved, and given the chance to succeed. Coco is proof that a little guidance and structure can go a long way. Beneath all that excitement is a truly wonderful dog with so much love to give, and we can’t wait to see him find the forever family he deserves.
