Hi there!
My name is Kentucky-yep, like the state, but trust me, I'm way more exciting than any map location. I'm a five‑year‑old Belgian Malinois girl with a heart full of zoomies, a brain that never stops buzzing, and a tail that wags like it's trying to power a small city. I'm currently hanging out at Central Arizona Animal Rescue, but what I'm really doing is waiting for my forever person. Could it be you?
Let me tell you a little about me. I was found wandering as a stray in Yuma-no collar, no clues, no humans looking for me. They scanned me and found a microchip, but it had never been registered, so there was no way to track down my past. I waited at the Humane Society of Yuma for over a month and a half. I kept hoping someone would walk in and say, "That's my girl!" but no one ever did. I didn't give up, though. I'm a Malinois-we're known for our determination, our spirit, and our ability to bounce back from anything.
After all that waiting, I got transferred to Central Arizona Animal Rescue, and now I'm ready to start fresh. I'm fully vaccinated, spayed, microchipped, and healthy as can be. All I need now is a human who appreciates a dog with brains, beauty, and a whole lot of personality.
Speaking of personality… let's talk about my skills. I have a very special hobby: carrying my food bowl around. Not just carrying it-showing it off. I like to parade it around like I'm presenting a trophy. And here's the best part: I can stack multiple bowls together and carry them all at once. That's right. I'm basically a canine circus act. If you've ever wanted a dog who doubles as entertainment, I'm your girl.
Now, if you're not familiar with the Belgian Malinois breed, let me give you the inside scoop. We're kind of like the Olympic athletes of the dog world. Smart, fast, loyal, energetic, and always ready for a job. We're often chosen for police work, search and rescue, agility sports, and anything that requires brains and brawn working together. But don't worry-you don't need to be a superhero to adopt me. You just need to be someone who loves an active, clever dog and wants a best friend who will stick by your side through everything.
I love to move, explore, learn, and be part of whatever you're doing. If you're the kind of person who enjoys adventures, training sessions, long walks, or just having a dog who makes you laugh every single day, we might be a perfect match. I'm not the type to sit around being bored-I want to be involved, engaged, and loved.
Even though my past is a mystery, my future doesn't have to be. I'm ready to bond deeply with someone who sees me for who I am: a goofy, bright, affectionate Malinois girl with a whole lot of love to give. I've waited a long time for someone to choose me. Maybe you're the one I've been waiting for.
If you think we could be a great team, please reach out to Central Arizona Animal Rescue and set up a time to meet me. You can email
