Hi there, future best friend!
My name is Ruby, and I'm on the hunt for my forever home! I'm a gorgeous red shepherd mix (some people say I might have a dash of Doberman in me-fancy, right?). At just 10-12 months old, I'm still a puppy with all the wiggles, zoomies, and happy energy you could ever want. If you're looking for a loyal, fun-loving companion who will keep you smiling every single day, then keep reading… because I think we're about to fall in love!

A little about me:
I started my journey as a stray in Yuma, Arizona. Life was a little rough out there, but I never lost my sweet spirit! The amazing folks at the Yuma Humane Society took me in and cared for me until I could hitch a ride to Central Arizona Animal Rescue. Now I'm here, waiting patiently (okay, maybe not so patiently-I'm a puppy, after all!) for someone special to give me the home I've been dreaming of.

What makes me so awesome?

I'm spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped. Yep, I'm all set and ready to go! You'll never have to worry about me getting lost again.
I'm playful and full of life. I LOVE to run, play, and explore. If you've got a yard, I'll turn it into my personal racetrack.
I'm super sweet and love people. I'll greet you with tail wags and kisses every single day.

My favorite thing in the world? Playing with other dogs! I have a boyfriend here at the rescue, and we have the BEST time running, wrestling, and being goofy together. So if you already have a dog who loves to play, I think we'd make the perfect trio! I'd do best in a home where I have a furry friend to keep me company and share all my puppy adventures with.

A few things to know:

I'm still young and full of energy, so I might be a little too bouncy for small kiddos.
Cats? Hmm… I'm not sure about them yet, but since I love to run, I might think they're part of the game and want to chase.
I'm smart and eager to learn, so with a little training and patience, I'll be the best dog you've ever had!

What do I dream about?
Long walks, car rides with the windows down, belly rubs, and snuggling up after a day of play. I want someone who will love me forever and give me the happy life I deserve. In return, I promise to give you endless love, laughter, and loyalty.

WE DO NOT TAKE OWNER SURRENDERS - If you are looking to surrender a dog, take them to the county animal control in the county you reside in. That is where we get all of our dogs we are trying to save.
