Hi there, future family! My name is Spirit, and I've been waiting for someone just like YOU to come into my life.

I may be small-just about 20 to 25 pounds-but my heart is HUGE and full of love to give. I'm a sweet little girl who adores snuggles, being held, and spending time with people. If you're looking for a loyal companion who will curl up next to you on the couch and make every day brighter, I'm your girl!

My story started in Yuma, where I was found as a stray. No one knows how I ended up on the streets, and honestly, I don't like to dwell on the past. What matters now is the future-and finding my forever home! After being picked up, I stayed at the Humane Society hoping my people would come for me, but they never did. That's okay, because now I've been given a second chance thanks to the wonderful folks at Central Arizona Animal Rescue. They've promised to help me find the perfect family, and I believe that family might be YOU.

Let me tell you a little more about myself. I'm very, very sweet-everyone says so! I love to snuggle and be held, and I'm happiest when I'm close to my people. I'm great with kids and other dogs, so if you already have a furry friend or little ones at home, I'll fit right in. I have a short coat, which means I'm super easy to care for-no fancy grooming required! Just a little brushing now and then, and I'm good to go.

I don't need tons of exercise, but I do enjoy going on walks and playing with toys. A stroll around the neighborhood or a little playtime in the living room makes me happy. I'd do just fine in a small house or even an apartment, as long as I have love and attention. Honestly, I'm pretty low-maintenance-I just want to be part of a family who loves me as much as I'll love them.

The best part? I'm ready to go home with you today! I've been spayed, I'm current on all my vaccinations, and I've been microchipped so I'll never get lost again. I'm healthy, happy, and waiting for someone to say, "Spirit, you're coming home!"
