About Echo
Taysia Blue Siberian Husky Rescue
RescueTaysia Blue Siberian Husky Rescue in Nebraska is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization. Our all volunteer mission is to keep Huskies and Malamutes out of shelters where they are at risk of being killed due to overcrowding.
Siberian Huskies are beautiful. It's hard not to fall in love with their fluffy coats and gorgeous eyes, it's hard not to laugh at their antics and marvel at their independent intelligence. But with the fur comes the shedding, with the antics comes possible destruction and with the independence and intelligence comes a rather nomadic Houdini of a dog that wants to escape and run for the fun of it. Often these dogs are adopted by people who are not prepared for the very traits they were attracted to. Some husky owners are not prepared for the amount of energy these dogs have and the exercise they require. They are intelligent, but often easily bored and not easy to train, they can be stubborn and mischievous. Please research this breed carefully before you choose to adopt a Siberian husky.
