WOODY

Woody is a young dog looking for his forever home after surviving a car accident that left him with pelvic fractures. Despite everything he’s been through, Woody has remained incredibly easygoing, mellow, and loving. He’s currently recovering well and taking life one relaxed stroll at a time.Woody has already had a couple of overnight stays, and he’s been the perfect houseguest. He sleeps soundly through the night, takes care of business outside in the morning, and is happiest simply hanging out with his person. He’s housetrained, calm in the home, and content whether he’s relaxing beside you or entertaining himself nearby.This sweet guy has met many people and greets everyone politely, though he’s definitely more interested in bonding with his people than being the center of attention. Woody has also been around several dogs at the Growers Market and handled it beautifully — sniffing a few, ignoring others, and remaining mostly indifferent. He could happily live with another calm dog after a proper introduction, or he’d do just fine as your one-and-only companion.Woody is excellent on leash and enjoys getting out and about, though marathon training isn’t in his future anytime soon while he continues healing. He loves petting, enjoys bath time, and has an overall calm, comforting presence that makes him incredibly easy to be around.Woody’s ideal home would be relaxed and mellow, with people who appreciate a loyal companion who simply wants to be near them.
