Meet Jaguar – Part-Time Introvert, Full-Time SweetheartJaguar came to the shelter with her sisters and is currently enrolled in our Shy Dog Program, where she is working very hard on becoming a confident little lady. She’s getting braver every day, but new places and new people can still make her feel a bit unsure — think wallflower with a heart of gold. Once she warms up, Jaguar shows her true personality: a gentle cuddle bug who would rather be snuggled up beside you than chasing toys. Balls? Meh. Stuffies? Pass. Her favorite activity is using her super-powered nose to sniff out treats like a tiny, quiet truffle pig. She loved playing with her sisters, so having another friendly dog in the home may help her continue to blossom — though a meet and greet is recommended to make sure everyone’s a good match. If you’re patient, kind, and ready to cheer on a shy girl as she learns the world isn’t so scary, Jaguar will reward you with soft cuddles, slow tail wags, and the kind of love that only a brave little soul can give.
