Meet Solomon — Professional Shadow, Amateur Brave Boy Solomon is a 1-year-old neutered Labrador Retriever/Collie mix with a sweet, sensitive personality and a heart full of love. He can be a little shy at first and startles easily with sudden noises or fast movements, but once he realizes you’re a friend, he quickly transforms into a full-time cuddle buddy who would happily live in your lap if allowed.This handsome young guy loves attention, gives gentle kisses, and stays close to his people like a loyal little shadow. He walks pretty well on leash with only a little pulling, although sometimes he walks so close he may accidentally become your second pair of pants. He already knows “sit” and takes treats very gently.Solomon also has a playful side and enjoys toys and goofing around once he feels comfortable. He seems dog friendly through the fence with multiple dogs and nicely parallel walked with another friendly shelter dog.He’s looking for a patient home that can help him continue building confidence while appreciating his affectionate, gentle nature. Underneath the shy exterior is a loving best friend who just wants reassurance, kindness, and someone to stick close to forever.
