Meet Franny — the Shy Girl Turned Glow-Up Queen Franny is a 1-year-old spayed Labrador Retriever mix who came to the shelter as a quiet, shy girl and has truly blossomed. While she may still be a little reserved in brand-new environments or with new people, give her a bit of time and her sweet, smiley personality shines through. She’s the kind of dog who starts off soft and cautious, then surprises you with just how loving she can be. She enjoys playtime and likes toys once she’s comfortable. Franny came to the shelter with two other dogs and has shown a lot of interest in other dogs through the fence. She also played nicely with another young dog, suggesting she could enjoy a canine friend with the right introduction.Franny was adopted and later returned only because the resident senior dog in the home was stressed. Her adopters shared that Franny was housetrained, walked well on leash, and was friendly with adults. They described her as a great dog — affectionate, smiley, and a joy to have around. They also noted that Franny seemed to do better wearing a harness rather than a collar, and that she would benefit from a securely fenced yard so she can feel safe and confident.
