But once she gets away from the noisy barking dogs and has a chance to decompress, her softer side starts sneaking out.At first, Sasha plays the classic introvert game of “I would like affection… from over there.” She startles easily and may avoid you for a bit while she decides if you’re trustworthy enough for the VIP access package. But give her a little patience, some gentle pets, and a steady supply of treats, and suddenly this shy girl is sitting beside you like you’ve been best friends for years.By the end of her outing, Sasha was leaning in for pets, laying down next to her person, sneaking in little hand licks, and even giving kisses. Once she feels safe, she really wants to stay close to her people.Her previous owner shared that Sasha was an inside dog, housebroken, loved car rides, and was friendly with people. She was heartbreakingly surrendered after her owner lost their job and could no longer care for her.Sasha is looking for a calmer home where she can settle in, build confidence, and continue her transformation from “nervous stranger danger” to “full-time loyal sidekick.”
