Sweetie MERINGUE

Meringue spent most of his life deeply loved by an elderly woman, and together they shared a gentle, beautiful bond. He was relaxed, well cared for, and adored. One of their favorite rituals was quiet time together, with Meringue asking to be brushed and soaking up every moment of affection.

Now almost 10 years young, Meringue has lost his person and is looking for a new heart to call home. He's a social cat who truly enjoys companionship, but he also appreciates peaceful downtime. He would thrive with an experienced cat person-someone who enjoys sharing space with a cat who has presence, personality, and opinions.

Meringue (often lovingly called Sweetie) is quite the conversationalist and enjoys "talking" with his people. He also loves basking in warm sunbeams whenever they appear. His long, luxurious fur is part of his charm-and yes, he has a lot of it

We would love to see this wonderful boy settled into a calm, loving home where he can live out the rest of his life feeling secure, cherished, and joyful.

Because we bring pets to their new homes and value ongoing connection, adopters should be located in or near Santa Fe, Albuquerque, Rio Rancho, Los Alamos, or White Rock, New Mexico.
