Eclipse

Meet Eclipse - a sleek black kitten with a single white spot on his belly and glowing amber eyes that seem to shine in the dark. Born in March 2025, this sweet boy has never raised a paw in anger and has a heart full of love for both people and other cats.

Eclipse absolutely adores feline companionship. His foster family has two senior kitties, and although they prefer their quiet time, Eclipse hasn't stopped trying to win them over. He rolls in front of them, trills sweetly, and does his best to invite them to play. Deep down, he's hoping for a kitty friend who will finally say "yes!"

He's also devoted to his humans and likes to follow his people from room to room, always wanting to be nearby. Because Eclipse is sensitive and a little shy, new situations and sudden noises can make him nervous at first, and he may hide until he feels safe. But once he settles in, his curious, playful personality shines - and he's ready to explore absolutely everything.

The cat adoption fee is $120 (or $190 for two cats). Second Chance Pets is a foster-based organization so all animals live in foster homes throughout the area. All cats are spayed/neutered, tested for FIV and feline leukemia, fully vaccinated, dewormed, defleaed and microchipped. Adoptions are held on Saturdays from 10:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Clear Lake Petco (2410 Bay Area Blvd, Houston 77058).
