Tess has the biggest heart (and the biggest paws)! This lady is beautiful but has the paws of a mountain lion (not really but they are close). She is a dilute tortie, so of course she is absolutely gorgeous, however she lacks the stereotypical tortie personality traits. She is very laid back, not demanding or "sassy" in any way. Perhaps because of the "dilute" or maybe because she just got used to having very little, so being demanding was not an option. Our sweet Tessie girl has not had the easiest life up to this point. Tess once lived in a home, but was just put outside one day along with the other cats of the home to fend for herself (yes we know what you are thinking...why are people so heartless) but a neighbor brought her to us to help get her the care and the home she actually deserves. Tess is so great, she is super people friendly in spite of her past life and seems okay with other cats, especially the ones that have her same laid back vibe. We do believe she would probably enjoy a house of her own or with a limited number of cats to have to share attention with. It would be nice for her to be a princess for once! Tess was aged by our vet around eight years old, but was not well cared for in the years prior so does have some dental needs (***Update dental work complete-she had several extractions, but is now healed and feeling better then ever!***) but is healthy and happy otherwise. We can only imagine how long she has been living with her dental damage, and how much pain this must have caused her for some time, but even with all of this Tessie is still so loving!
So for those of you that love a good come-back story, please consider adding this deserving cat to your family as she deserves for her story to have a happy "ending" or new beginning if you will.
