It is hard to write bios for kittens, especially kitten litters, because they are all so sweet and cute, I mean they are kittens for goodness sakes! This litter is named after country music legends or superstars. This litter of five, came to our shelter with three adults as well, including their Mama (Reba). The family that was renting the property was leaving and didn't know what would happen to them once they left. They were all outside cats (apparently were allowed inside or in some sort of porch/patio) during the VERY cold weather as some of the kittens had a little frost bite so it was essential to make room for the entire group in our shelter for everyone before the family left the property. We are happy we did, as both the kittens and the adult cats are amazing. All loving, very social (including with kids), and appreciative to have a warm and cozy place to be. These cats are a good reminder the importance of spay/neuter programs. This litter is scheduled for their own spay/neuter within the next month. An approved application will move your kittens to the next available date.
*Garth is the "big brother" of this group. He seems protective of his siblings and they seem to look to him for comfort. When these kittens first arrived some of them hide underneath Garth, now he is still an essential part of their cuddle sessions. This boy is a handsome buff (light beige/orange) kitten. He has the SOFTEST fur so is great that they loves to be pet. Garth is a beautiful, sweet, and affectionate kitten that would love to join a family with any of his siblings (or really any of our current kittens).
IMPORTANT******We require your home to include a similar aged feline companion. Young kittens will NOT be approved for homes where they will not have another similar aged KITTEN (Kitten= under 1 year of age) companion. If you do not wish to adopt two kittens, please consider selecting a cat nearer to one year of age or older. Giving your kitten a buddy will improve the lives of both cats while also making your life easier. Single kitten issues/problems are a real thing. Complete our online adoption application a www.littleorphans.org to start the process of adding an adorable kitten (or two!) to your home. The more complete your application is, determines how quickly we are able to process your application. Please try to give your vets office (give prior authorization to release information to us), landlord, and references a heads up to expect our call. Adoption fees for kittens include spay/neuter, up-to-date age-appropriate vaccines, deworming, flea preventative, and a microchip.
