Oh sweet Patch! She was lucky enough to have a foster home for several months as a young kitten because she needed some extra TLC (eye drops) and a quiet place to heal. She was very loved by her foster family and two adult cats. She now needs to find her forever. Patch is a gorgeous medium to long hair black kitten. Her fur is so soft and she keeps herself looking so beautiful. Her foster said she does enjoy being brushed and also held close to you where she would sit forever if she could. Patch has one eye that is somewhat cloudy, due to some sort of injury as a very young kitten. While in foster, Patch had medication applied daily so our vet says it has healed wonderfully, but will always have a bit of "haze" over the eye. Patch came to us as a single (and injured) kitten, because of this she is a bit reserved at first meeting. She is not the first kitten to come to greet you, but prefers for you to come to her. She loves attention and we do believe she will come out for attention once she is in her forever home and adjusts. Patch will do best for a calm and gentle similar aged feline companion. We would highly recommend Pricilla (also at The Cat's Brew) as they have really connected while there. Pricilla has helped Patch develop her confidence in both feline and human interactions. Patch will generally look for Pricilla and Pricilla is happy to hang out with her! Both are sweet and mellow female kittens that would be a "perfect pair" to add to your family.
Because Patch was fostered in a home with adult cats, she does very well with those interactions. She learned that etiquette early on, but has since begun to learn how to be a kitten as well. We love seeing this side of her now and again why Patch would fit into most homes, but again this home will need to include a similar aged feline friend. Please consider adding this sweet, calm, and of course beautiful kitten to your family.
*****IMPORTANT****** We require your home to include a similar aged feline companion. Giving your kitten a buddy will improve the lives of both cats while also making your life easier. Single kitten issues/problems are a real thing. Complete our online adoption application a www.littleorphans.org to start the process of adding an adorable kitten (or two!) to your home. Adoption fees for kittens include spay/neuter, up-to-date age-appropriate vaccines, deworming, flea preventative, and a microchip.
