It is hard to write bios for kittens, especially kitten litters, because they are all so sweet and cute, I mean they are kittens for goodness sakes! This litter is named after country music legends or superstars. This litter of five, came to our shelter with three adults as well, including their Mama (Reba). The family that was renting the property was leaving and didn't know what would happen to them once they left. They were all outside cats (apparently were allowed inside or in some sort of porch/patio) during the VERY cold weather as some of the kittens had a little frost bite so it was essential to make room for the entire group in our shelter for everyone before the family left the property. We are happy we did, as both the kittens and the adult cats are amazing. All loving, very social (including with kids), and appreciative to have a warm and cozy place to be. These cats are a good reminder the importance of spay/neuter programs. This litter is scheduled for their own spay/neuter within the next month. An approved application will move your kittens to the next available date.
**Dolly is a beautiful tabby girl with quite a bit of white details as well. Dolly and Kenny are almost twins, but she is a little bit bigger than her brother. Dolly is very friendly as she is normally the first to request attention when you go in the kitten room. She will either lay next to you and roll to show you her belly, or she will just crawl right into your lap for some pets. She (and this entire litter) is very sweet and kind to her siblings. They all seem to rotate who they snuggle with from day to day so selecting any pair of these cuties will be an excellent choice.
*****IMPORTANT******We require your home to include a similar aged feline companion. Young kittens will NOT be approved for homes where they will not have another similar aged KITTEN (Kitten= under 1 year of age) companion. If you do not wish to adopt two kittens, please consider selecting a cat nearer to one year of age or older. Giving your kitten a buddy will improve the lives of both cats while also making your life easier. Single kitten issues/problems are a real thing. Complete our online adoption application a www.littleorphans.org to start the process of adding an adorable kitten (or two!) to your home. The more complete your application is, determines how quickly we are able to process your application. Please try to give your vets office (give prior authorization to release information to us), landlord, and references a heads up to expect our call. Adoption fees for kittens include spay/neuter, up-to-date age-appropriate vaccines, deworming, flea preventative, and a microchip.
