Marlene has a true zest for life, and her tail is almost always wagging to show you just how happy she is. Marlene adores the simple joys: her daily walks, chasing her ball, cuddle time and, above all, belly rubs. If you're nearby, she's happily saunter right up to your side, ready to nuzzle in for affection. The second you sit down, she'll wriggle over, flop dramatically onto her back, and ask ever so sweetly for yet another belly rub.

After a good snuggle session, Marlene gets the cutest zoomies, hopping around like an excited little bunny. She's also an adorably vocal girl - not a barker, but a talker. When she's happy, she gives soft, delighted "awoo" sounds and gentle paw taps to let you know it's time for more love.

At the Adoption Center, Marlene's favorite place is perched proudly on top of her crate, where she can watch all her human friends from her window. No matter the circumstances, Marlene greets every person and every experience with warmth, curiosity and enthusiasm. There isn't a single soul she hasn't welcomed with kindness, and she has quickly won over the hearts of those that know her.
