Hi, I'm Tubby - a 2½‑year‑old, 19‑pound Boston Terrier boy with the zoomies of a popcorn kernel and the cuddle skills of a heated blanket. I'm friendly with everyone - people, dogs, probably even that neighbor who always waves too enthusiastically. I love to play hard in short bursts, and then I immediately transform into a sleepy little lap loaf. I'm gentle, affectionate, and very good at melting into your arms like warm butter. I don't like loud noises or being yelled at - I'm a sensitive soul with big feelings and even bigger ears. But I'm also incredibly smart. I adapt to routines fast, and I watch what the other dogs do so I can copy them like the world's cutest little intern. I'm trained with the doggy door, crate trained, and leash trained. I'll happily hop into my crate to eat or sleep… but if you invite me into your bed, I will absolutely accept that invitation. I'm great with kids and would be a wonderful buddy for a senior, too. I am, in fact, an escape artist. A tiny Houdini. A four‑legged magician. I have managed to get through a fence even while wearing a cone. I require a very secure fence and supervision outside so I don't go on unauthorized adventures. I'm good in the car, I love taking walks, and I absolutely adore water. If you turn on the hose, I will appear instantly like a water‑loving gremlin ready for splash time. I'd be thrilled to have a family that wants to cuddle, play, and laugh at my goofy antics.
