Meet Sunny, an absolutely adorable kitten bursting with playful energy and endless affection! This little charmer arrived as a shy stray but has quickly blossomed into a vibrant, loving companion.
Sunny utterly adores his buddy, Smokey. You'll often find them playing chase, wrestling, and snuggling together. This energetic youngster has a talent for entertaining himself with soft mice and bouncy balls, running in happy circles and dashing back and forth. But his absolute favorite is a wand mouse toy, which he'll chase with boundless enthusiasm!
After a good play session, Sunny transitions seamlessly into a purr-machine. He loves nothing more than to be held and snuggled, his little motor going strong as you lavish him with attention. He's a big fan of chin scritches and will happily roll over for delightful belly rubs. We think he's going to be a super sweet, cuddly cat once he fully settles in.
Sunny's beautiful eyes are full of love, and he's shown a wonderful affinity for children, eagerly engaging in playtime with them. He truly thrives on interaction and will happily run and run after any toy you present. If you're looking for a playful, affectionate, purring bundle of joy Sunny is ready to light up your life!
Sunny is from a stray surrender with his brother. If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please fill out an adoption application. An adoption application is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is not a binding contract.

If you are unable to adopt but want to help this animal and others in our care, you can donate to support the medical and veterinary needs of all Ruff Start Rescue animals.
Want to adopt a kitten? We highly recommend you consider bringing home two instead of one! Adopting kittens in pairs has been proven to be beneficial for cats' emotional and behavioral well-being and greatly improves the likelihood of long-term adopter happiness as a result. Adopting more than one kitten also reduces the risk of "Single Kitten Syndrome" (also known as Tarzan Syndrome), a symptom of under-socialization during a kitten's most formative weeks. Kittens who are under-socialized may develop aggressive tendencies toward both other animals and humans as they grow, creating lifelong behavioral issues for owners.
