Hi, I'm Gia - Small, Spunky, and Full of Love
Hi there! I'm Gia, and I'm all about fun, snuggles, and a little bit of sass. Cuddling is my absolute favorite thing in the world, but toys are a very close second-especially the ones that make noise. If it crinkles, jingles, or squeaks, I'm in.
I also love watching YouTube, especially bird and nature videos. I'll sit there quietly (I'm actually not very vocal!) making my little interested noises while I watch, fully locked in like it's my favorite show.
I warm up very quickly and am a big fan of head scratches. I'm totally fine being picked up and held-I kind of expect it, honestly. I'm spunky and confident, and I can be the first to get a little mouthy when I'm excited, so I'd do best in a home with older kids who understand my playful energy.
Out of my trio, I'm the most independent and could handle being on my own… but if I'm being honest, I'd really love to go home with one (or both) of my brothers if possible.
If you're looking for a cuddly, playful girl with personality, charm, and a love for noisy toys and YouTube birds, I might just be your perfect match.
Gia would love to be adopted with one or both of her siblings, but if she is not able to, she would do best with another playful cat in the home.
Gia is from a stray surrender with 2 siblings. If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please fill out an adoption application. An adoption application is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is not a binding contract.

If you are unable to adopt but want to help this animal and others in our care, you can donate to support the medical and veterinary needs of all Ruff Start Rescue animals.
Want to adopt a kitten? We highly recommend you consider bringing home two instead of one! Adopting kittens in pairs has been proven to be beneficial for cats' emotional and behavioral well-being and greatly improves the likelihood of long-term adopter happiness as a result. Adopting more than one kitten also reduces the risk of "Single Kitten Syndrome" (also known as Tarzan Syndrome), a symptom of under-socialization during a kitten's most formative weeks. Kittens who are under-socialized may develop aggressive tendencies toward both other animals and humans as they grow, creating lifelong behavioral issues for owners.
