Kalliope

I'm Kalliope! My foster mom says I'm extra special because I've got extra toes! I'm a busy girl and love to chase my toys and shadows on the wall. I play well with my sister and am respectful of the space of the older cats in my foster home. I would like a home with a young or social cat to play with! My favorite spot is on your chest when you sit down and will gladly crawl up to demand kisses and scratches. I'm still learning countertops are not where I belong and there isn't a gate I can't climb or jump over. I also have a 5 year old foster brother that loves to play with me and pick me up which I'm very tolerable about.

Adopting kittens in pairs has been proven to be beneficial for cats' emotional and behavioral well-being and greatly improves the likelihood of long-term adopter happiness as a result. Adopting more than one kitten also reduces the risk of "Single Kitten Syndrome" (also known as Tarzan Syndrome), a symptom of under-socialization during a kitten's most formative weeks. Kittens who are under-socialized may develop aggressive tendencies toward both other animals and humans as they grow, creating lifelong behavioral issues for owners.
