Luna Toons is a 2-year-old German Shepherd with a big heart, a sharp mind, and so much love to give. She is an intelligent, thoughtful girl who thrives with calm guidance, gentle handling, and people who appreciate a dog that forms deep, loyal bonds.
Luna knows several basic commands including sit, lay down, stay, come, gentle, and leave it, and she continues to build her skills every day. She walks nicely on a leash and truly enjoys her daily walks. She responds best to soft voices and patient leadership and takes pride in doing things right.
She is wonderful with children of all ages and enjoys being part of a family. Luna does well with other dogs when introductions are slow and respectful, and she would likely benefit from living with a confident, friendly dog who can help her continue learning "dog life." She is learning to coexist with cats and is working on giving them space rather than chasing.
Luna is crate trained and settles well once inside, though she may need a little encouragement at first. She prefers not to spend long periods kenneled and would thrive in a home where she can be part of everyday life. A household where someone works from home or is gone only a typical workday would be ideal for her.
At home, Luna is affectionate and playful - she loves to wrestle, cuddle on the couch, and is just beginning to discover how fun toys can be. She is naturally protective of her home and the people she loves, making her a devoted companion.
Luna is looking for a patient, loving home that will continue to help her build confidence, provide structure, and include her as a true family member. With the right environment, she will be an incredibly loyal, gentle, and rewarding companion.
