Meet Leigh, a sweet and gentle kitten with a heart of gold, just waiting for the right home to blossom! Leigh is a quiet observer, a wallflower with a wonderful spirit that shines through once she feels safe and loved.
Leigh is a shy girl, and she needs a patient and understanding family who can give her the space she needs to adjust. Fast movements or sudden approaches can startle her, and she might offer a little hiss or make a quick getaway. However, for those who take their time, the reward is immense. Once you gently scoop her up, Leigh transforms into a cuddly, purring companion, melting into your arms and enjoying soft pets. But given the choice, she'd often prefer to curl up in a cozy blanket or a soft cat bed, either by herself or snuggled close with a feline friend, especially her beloved sister, Lynn!
Speaking of feline friends, Leigh thrives in the company of other cats. She's incredibly playful with her sister and other kittens, adoring tunnels and toys with bells that spark her playful side. A home with another cat or kitten (perhaps even her sister Lynn!) would be ideal to help her feel secure and encourage her outgoing side.
While Leigh tolerates dogs, they aren't her favorite. A calm household without overly boisterous canine companions would be best suited for this sensitive soul. She's slowly learning to enjoy pets, and while she won't actively seek them out, those cherished moments when she snuggles into your hold are truly precious.
If you're looking for a sweet, playful, and rewarding companion who will bloom with love and patience, Leigh is ready to find her forever home alongside a furry friend.
Iceleigh is from a stray surrender. If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please fill out an
adoption application.
An adoption application is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is not a binding contract.

Want to adopt a kitten? We highly recommend you consider bringing home two instead of one! Adopting kittens in pairs has been proven to be beneficial for cats' emotional and behavioral well-being and greatly improves the likelihood of long-term adopter happiness as a result. Adopting more than one kitten also reduces the risk of "Single Kitten Syndrome" (also known as Tarzan Syndrome), a symptom of under-socialization during a kitten's most formative weeks. Kittens who are under-socialized may develop aggressive tendencies toward both other animals and humans as they grow, creating lifelong behavioral issues for owners.
