I'm Kasey! I used to be much smaller than my sister but am growing fast. Soft surfaces like cat beds, rugs, and towels should be monitored until I'm comfortable. My favorite spots are in front of the vent when the heat is blowing or curled up next to you on the couch. Sometimes I'll even sit in your lap on my own time. I also like to watch the iPad with my 5 year old foster brother and am very tolerable of him picking me up and loving on me.
Overall I'm a quiet gal that sticks to herself most of the time. I love playing with my sister so I'd like to find a home with another kitten or social cat to play with when I get the zoomies! My two older foster cat siblings don't really love me and I'm very respectful of their space and cues of when to come around them. I also really like my wet food dinners and treats.
Kasey is from a local shelter

If you are unable to adopt but want to help this animal and others in our care, you can donate to support the medical and veterinary needs of all Ruff Start Rescue animals.
Want to adopt a kitten? We highly recommend you consider bringing home two instead of one! Adopting kittens in pairs has been proven to be beneficial for cats' emotional and behavioral well-being and greatly improves the likelihood of long-term adopter happiness as a result. Adopting more than one kitten also reduces the risk of "Single Kitten Syndrome" (also known as Tarzan Syndrome), a symptom of under-socialization during a kitten's most formative weeks. Kittens who are under-socialized may develop aggressive tendencies toward both other animals and humans as they grow, creating lifelong behavioral issues for owners.
