Hi, I'm Joey. I'm a beautiful boy with a thoughtful, observant nature. I like to take everything in from a bit of a distance-for now. I've already come a long way, and with time, patience, and lots of gentle kitty steps, I'll keep making progress.

I watch everything you do (and yes, I mean everything). I'm curious and aware, always keeping an eye on my world as I learn that people can be pretty great.

I get along well with other cats, but I'd also be perfectly happy as an only pet in a calm home where I can build confidence at my own pace. If you're someone who understands that the most rewarding bonds grow slowly and sweetly, I just might be the cat for you.

Want to adopt a kitten? We highly recommend you consider bringing home two instead of one! Adopting kittens in pairs has been proven to be beneficial for cats' emotional and behavioral well-being and greatly improves the likelihood of long-term adopter happiness as a result. Adopting more than one kitten also reduces the risk of "Single Kitten Syndrome" (also known as Tarzan Syndrome), a symptom of under-socialization during a kitten's most formative weeks. Kittens who are under-socialized may develop aggressive tendencies toward both other animals and humans as they grow, creating lifelong behavioral issues for owners.
