Windy

Meet Windy! This spirited little lady was born in rescue after her mama was found living outside as a stray. Windy and her siblings have been raised indoors and have grown up around other cats and even a rabbit.

Windy is the adventurous one of the litter and approaches everyone she meets with with confidence and curiosity. Brave and playful, she is usually the first to explore a new toy, climb into an unexplored space, or investigate whatever catches her attention. Despite her bold personality, Windy is still a sweet kitten who enjoys affection and curling up in a warm lap. Like most young kittens, she would be happiest in a home with feline companionship, so her ideal home will already have another cat or will be interested in adopting her with one of her siblings.

Windy has not yet met dogs but should adjust well to respectful canine friends. She is being fostered in Akron, OH, and was born on March 11, 2026.

Windy's adoption fee of $100 includes a negative test for Feline Leukemia (FELV) and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV), spay surgery, age-appropriate feline leukemia and FVRCP vaccines, deworming, topical flea prevention, and a microchip.

Windy will still need her rabies vaccine when she is about 4 months old. If adopted with one of her siblings, the adoption fee for the pair is $150. Her littermates are Winona, Whimsy, Wolfie, Wilson, and Wisp.

Please note: Windy's spay surgery is scheduled for June 1st, and she should be ready to go home with her new family around the weekend of June 5th. Approved applicants are welcome to meet her before June 1st and may sign an adoption contract to place her on hold until after her surgery.
