General Notes | Duckie or what foster family has been calilng him, Ollie, is such a sweet, sweet boy! He is playful but also calm for a puppy! He plays when he wants and then sneaks back into his little cozy crate for naptime. He sleeps through the night, loves belly rubs, cuddling and romping with toys, other dogs and humans. He has a calm, go-with-the-flow attitude that makes him a dream to be around. Duckie is ready to paddle his way into a forever home where he can be the center of your pond. Want to adopt this dog? Please do not email us. Please fill out the Adoption Application ASAP, and an Adoption Coordinator will be in touch within a few days. Our standard application processing timeline is 12 - 14 days. Personality | Smart, very friendly, snuggly, and happy! This crew has been well socialized and is adorable. Typical puppy antics!Story | These puppies were dumped in a box alone in rural Arkansas. A local rescue took them in to prepare for their journey to Colorado! Since they were dumped without mom, we don't know for sure what these babies are mixed with. Perhaps lab or something else? One thing we know for sure is that they're cute! Dogs | Great with other pups! Born to a big litter so these babies know how to share. They will do well with dog friends in their homes :) Cats | He has been face to face with the foster cat and def wants to play with the cat, the cat not so much with him. :) Children Loves kids and always ready to run around, and give ALL the kisses! Training | Crate trained and almost potty trained- should be easy with a little work. Sleeps through the night. Leash | Too little to leash walk, but will learn with time! Our rescue follows "No Paws on the Ground" (NPOG) as a safety protocol for young puppies, primarily used by veterinarians, shelters, and rescues. It means that an unvaccinated or partially vaccinated puppy should never be allowed to put their feet on the ground in any public or communal area where other dogs or animals may have been. These babies love to play in secure yards, and be snuggled and held on family walks.Activity Level | Moderate. Typical puppy who loves to nap, play, repeat! Health Notes | Healthy and happy!Thank you! | Adoption Donations | Our adoption donations are $575 for dogs 8 weeks to 1 year old, $525 for 1 - 6 years old, $475 for dogs 7 - 10 years old, and $350 for 11+ years of age. Purebred dogs regardless of age are $625. These minimum donations help to defer the costs of initial vet care, food, transportation to Colorado, and supplies while in foster care (that currently average over $750 per dog).Meeting Dogs | Foster dogs may have meet and greets by appointment to approved applicants only. To become an approved applicant - please complete the application process. We will not respond to emails about animal availability or allow meet and greets without an approved adoption application on file. Please Note | Available dogs are updated as soon as possible and we do our best to keep it up-to-date, but occasionally dogs shown may become unavailable without notice due to a pending adoption. We can not guarantee that a dog you wish to adopt is available by the time your adoption application is submitted, processed, and approved. Your application is good for one year from the date of applying for any dog as long as it is a good fit for your family and your lifestyle. We encourage you to put in an application even if you don't see your new family member currently, as once you are approved, we can place you on the waiting list for first priority on the selection of the dogs we do bring in. That means you can often meet a dog upon transport arrival and adopt before they even make it to this page!
