General Notes | Dewey is the sweetest little guy - snuggly, adaptable, and great with dogs, cats, and kids! This boy couldn't be more adoring of his people and his furry foster siblings, following them from room to room with cute sits and sweet head tilts. He's a social, adventurous soul who believes every day should be an outdoor expedition. But don't worry-after a day of "mountain" climbing and chasing his favorite toys, Dewey is more than happy to crash for a sweet, sugary snuggle. If your life needs a little more kick and a lot more wag, Dewey is ready to be your main squeeze! Want to adopt this dog? Please do not email us. Please fill out the Adoption Application ASAP, and an Adoption Coordinator will be in touch within a few days. Our standard application processing timeline is 12 - 14 days. Personality | Dewey is SO SO SWEET. Like, stupidly sweet and adoring. He is very go with the flow and adaptable. His foster family thinks he would make a great brewery pal or climbing pup since he's happiest wherever his people are. He is truly friendly, snuggly, and happy!Story | This litter was pulled from a high kill shelter in Dallas and lived in a large kennel together. They have recent traveled to CO and are acclimating to life here! Dogs | Dewey LOVES his two foster siblings, a big black lab and a little brown lab. He is playful but takes cues well and is super respectful. He is happy to observe and hang - doesn't need to charge in, but will join in play if invited. Great with other pups! Cats | This litter is expected to be great with kitties due to their wonderful demeanor and young age. Dewey has met two kitties and did well!Children | Would love kiddos who will play, snuggle, and give ALL the kisses! Training | In progress! All these babies are working on potty training, crate training, and sleeping through the night. Leash | Walks well on the leash and enjoys walks with his foster fam!Activity Level | Moderate. Your typical puppy who loves to nap, play, repeat! Health Notes | Healthy and vaccinated!Thank you! | Adoption Donations | Our adoption donations are $575 for dogs 8 weeks to 1 year old, $525 for 1 - 6 years old, $475 for dogs 7 - 10 years old, and $350 for 11+ years of age. To become an approved applicant - please complete the application process. We will not respond to emails about animal availability or allow meet and greets without an approved adoption application on file. Please Note | Available dogs are updated as soon as possible and we do our best to keep it up-to-date, but occasionally dogs shown may become unavailable without notice due to a pending adoption. We can not guarantee that a dog you wish to adopt is available by the time your adoption application is submitted, processed, and approved. Your application is good for one year from the date of applying for any dog as long as it is a good fit for your family and your lifestyle. We encourage you to put in an application even if you don't see your new family member currently, as once you are approved, we can place you on the waiting list for first priority on the selection of the dogs we do bring in. That means you can often meet a dog upon transport arrival and adopt before they even make it to this page!
