CO Foster Update: In keeping with my foster Disney theme, I named this little guy Tigger due to the springs in his feet. He happily bounces when he walks (making the floppy ears extra cute!), leaps over the big dogs with ease, and balances on his hind legs while springing up and down when excited . He has the perfect amount of energy. He actively engages in play (loves to wrestle my dog and chase a ball) and is up for any adventure, but he will also just chill with a bone or a stuffy (does not tear them up). This sweet little boy LOVES to snuggle - he doesn't get all the way in your lap, but instead finds such peace in just being snuggled next to you . Sometimes he even reaches his paw out to gently grab an arm and pull it toward him for pets or just a touch connection - it's precious! Tigger has 100%% embraced the Colorado lifestyle. I took him to the mountains and he had a blast playing in the snow ! Hanging out at a brewery was also right up his alley. He said hello with a calm demeanor and wagging tail to every human and dog in the place. The manager loved him so much he had him working behind the bar ! Tigger is fully house-trained. Although not a fan of the crate, he will only cry/whine for a minute before settling. He travels well in a car and is learning basic commands. He enjoys walking on a leash, but is very curious and will pull to check things out. Everything is new to him right now, but with practice and treats he should learn heel easily. You will not regret opening your home and heart to this special little guy !General Notes | Meet Fredy, a charmingly petite 30-pound Lab mix who proves that the best things really do come in small packages. This sociable little guy is a total social butterfly who thrives in the company of other dogs and greets every four-legged friend with a wagging tail. When playtime is over, Fredy transforms into the ultimate cuddle bug, looking for nothing more than a warm lap and a family to shower with his outsized affection. Want to adopt this dog? Please do not email us. Please fill out the Adoption Application ASAP, and an Adoption Coordinator will be in touch within a few days. Our standard application processing timeline is 12 - 14 days. Other Dogs | Fredy has met doggy friends of all sizes and did great! He loves to initiate play and is a happy, playful boy!
