Bodhi: General OverviewBodhi is a sweet, easy-going, and well-behaved boy who is perfectly happy being your "lazy buddy" or joining you for an adventure. Personality: Calm and relatively low energy, though he has occasional "zoomies" when excited or playful. He will go for a long walk or shorter one he's happy either way. Loves to play fetch or tug. Its really cute when he goes and gets a toy on his own and initiates playing with you. Tends to get excited when the doorbell rings or new people come over but it subsides quickly Training: Professionally trained and highly treat-motivated. He knows: Go to place, Sit, Lay down, Down stay, Leave it, and Turn. Leash Manners: Excellent. He doesn't pull, checks in frequently, and remains calm even when other dogs bark at him. Affection Level: High! He loves cuddles, pets, and human attention above all else. He will patiently accept pets for as long as you'r willing to give them. Has a tendency to gently paw to ask for more pet which is an endearing quirk (not pushy)Social Life & Compatibility Other Dogs: Enjoys meeting dogs off-leash at parks and open spaces. Historically has been be selective with on-leash greetings 10%% where he the other dog can be vocal at one another and easily separated. . Unknown how he would do living with another dog; he previously had a scuffle with a pushy dog in his own home ~18 months ago so we've keep to outdoor dog activities. Cats: Curious when seeing them out on walks or in a friends home. Children: Loves them! He is patient, gentle, and respectful. Note: Because of his size, he might accidentally knock over toddlers when excited.Home Life & Routine Crate Training: Loves his crate and goes in happily. He can stay crated for up to 5 hours while owners are away. Sleeping: Does not need to be crated at night; he sleeps on his dog bed on the floor. Activity Level: Low-to-moderate. He is up for hiking and camping but is just as happy relaxing by your side.Thank you! | Adoption Donations | Our adoption donations are $475 for dogs 8 weeks to 1 year, $425 for 1-6 years, $375 for dogs 7-10 years, and $250 for 11+ years of age.
