Hi everyone, my name is Bear ??I recently got a big grooming glow-up — just wait until you see my before-and-after photos! My past wasn’t an easy one, but thanks to kind people who spoke up for me, I was finally rescued and given a fresh start.When I first meet new people, I can be a little shy and cautious, but a few treats and some patience go a long way in winning me over ?? Once I trust you, I’m a loyal, loving companion through and through.During my grooming makeover, everyone discovered just how uncomfortable I had been living with severe matting that pulled painfully on my skin. Even after everything I’ve been through, I handled it all like a champ — especially the car rides! One of my favorite things is sticking my head out the window and feeling the breeze in my face.Right now, I’m still rocking the “naked bear” look while my fur grows back in, so I can’t spend long periods outside just yet. Until my fluffy coat returns, I’ll need a little extra care and comfort.I’m looking for a calm, loving single-family home with a secure backyard where I can feel safe and settled. I’d do best as the only pet in the home so I can soak up all the love and attention for myself.If you give me patience, kindness, and a little time to trust, I promise to give you unconditional love and be your loyal protector for life ??
