Taz is a young male kitten who came to us with a distal femoral fracture of the left hind limb. This type of injury is painful and requires specialized orthopedic evaluation, stabilization, and close follow-up care to promote proper healing and long-term function—care that exceeds what we can consistently provide in the shelter environment.Despite his injury, Taz remains gentle and is doing his best while receiving supportive care.Taz needs a safe, compassionate place where he can receive continued medical attention, appropriate treatment, and recovery support necessary for healing and comfort.This pet is at risk for euthanasia due to the level of medical care he requires, which exceeds what we can provide in the shelter.
