RONNIE

Ronnie is a dog who is suspected to have osteosarcoma affecting the right hind limb, a painful bone cancer that can cause significant discomfort and mobility issues. At this time, the limb appears very painful, and Ronnie is not tolerating handling. Conditions such as this require advanced diagnostics, pain management, and specialized treatment, which may include surgical intervention and ongoing medical care. This level of evaluation and treatment exceeds what we can consistently provide in the shelter environment.Despite his discomfort, Ronnie is doing his best while receiving supportive care.Ronnie needs a safe, compassionate placement where he can receive continued veterinary evaluation, pain management, and appropriate treatment to address his condition and improve his comfort.This pet is at risk for euthanasia due to the level of medical care required, which exceeds what we can provide in the shelter.
