Our adoption contract requires all dogs to be spayed/neutered within ONE Month of adoption or when age-appropriate. Adoption fees may be paid by cash or check.

At the time of his wellness exam Tchotchke only had one testice descended. It should be monitored by his vet and if it is not descended by the time of his neuter he will require cryptorchid surgery to remove it from the abdomen or inguinal area. This will add $100-$200 on to the cost of the neuter depending on the vet.
Puppies generally need the following veterinary care after their adoption:
8 Weeks: Distemper/Parvo & Bordetella Vaccinations. 4 Luv of Dog Rescue completes these vaccinations before adoption.
12 Weeks: Distemper/Parvo Vaccination completed at the veterinarian of adopter's choice.
16 Weeks: Distemper/Parvo & Rabies Vaccinations completed at the veterinarian of adopter's choice.
6 Months: Spay/Neuter surgery. **
Yearly thereafter: All dogs need yearly wellness exams performed by a veterinarian as well as booster vaccinations.
**Spay/Neuter surgeries cost between $200-$400 for a neuter surgery and $400-$600 for a spay surgery in the FM Area. Wellness visits can run from $75 to $150 for each visit. If you are thinking of adopting a puppy, it's a good idea to research these costs before adopting by calling the veterinarian of your choice.

This includes playful bursts of energy, curiosity about everything nearby, and plenty of cuddle breaks in between. Not housebroken yet, Tchotchke will benefit from structure, routine, and someone who understands that puppies learn over time. With patience and consistency, this youngster has all the potential to grow into a wonderful dog.
