Meet Casa Casa came to us under heartbreaking circumstances with his two housemates, who have since found their forever homes. When their owner was evicted, Casa and his furry friends were left behind with no one to care for them.At one point, all of them were well-loved, and we could see it in their gentle spirits and healthy appearances. Thankfully, they hadn’t been alone for long before they were rescued, and they’ve been showing us nothing but love ever since.Our staff and volunteers have spent time getting to know this sweet boy, and here’s what we’ve discovered:* Gentle and sweet-natured – One volunteer even called him the “perfect dog.”* Housebroken – Casa keeps a tidy kennel and prefers to potty outside.* Knows basic commands – He already knows how to sit and is treat-motivated* Gets along with other dogs – Though he prefers more independent play* A bit of a toy hoarder – He likes to steal all the toys away from his furry friends. * May prefer a female-led household – During a recent meet-and-greet with a couple, Casa showed a preference for the wife and was not a fan of the husband, so he might be a ladies’ man at heart.Casa would thrive in a loving home where he can be the center of attention. He’d do well with another dog who doesn’t mind his toy-stealing antics, or as an only dog where he can have all the toys to himself!
